Descend into Disaster

‘Descend into Disaster’ is a short solo TTRPG, combining the mechanics of 'The Wikipedia Game' with journalling. The game is playable in 30 minutes, although it can take longer, dependent on how detailed your journalling is.

The original 'Wikipedia Game’ (creator unknown) is a competitive game where players race from one Wikipedia page to another using as few hyperlinks as possible. The concept is usually competitive but in this game is it is used mainly as a mechanism by which to progress your imagined story towards disaster through journalling. There's no reason you couldn't play with a friend or two though!

To play, you'll need a 6-sided die, a your preferred journalling materials, access to the internet and a minimum of 30 minutes.

Originally created for the ‘Shit Or Get Off the Pot’ Jam, I intend to include an example play-through in the future and perhaps more instalments using this mechanic.
